ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello, my name is Garrett Loveless and I am a sculptor and artist based in Draper, Utah. I received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Edinboro University in 2013, and completed my undergraduate work at Utah Valley University, earning a degree in photography. It was during my studies at university that I discovered the joy that comes from working with clay and developed my love of creating art through sculpture.

While most of my art is completed in bronze or ceramic, I try to not limit myself. I like to focus my efforts and creativity on experimenting with shape, form, and alternate processes. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, challenging myself, and approaching things differently than the norm.

I have had the opportunity to display my work in art shows and galleries across the country, including a piece in the permanent collection at Edinboro University. I have also accepted commissions, which has allowed me to explore my creativity while collaborating with clients, to bring a shared vision to life.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time at home with my wife and 3 cats.
