Artist Statement

Contrasting the antiquated concept of a genie in a bottle with the modern-day empowered woman, “It’s Up to You” challenges the viewer to actualize their own wishes, rather than hoping for some magical fulfillment. It is a call to, and a celebration of the potential that resides in each of us.
