Artist Statement

Inspired from a character in a book, “A Promise on the Wind” is a contemplation on how much of us is, in a real way, made from the perceptions of others, and how we alter those perceptions with our actions. In some ways we are only as real and solid as our word to others, which inevitably fluctuates to some degree.
